All speculation of course...
Personally, I think it's highly UNLIKELY there will be anything in GW2 specifically for the lucky title, or any other individual title for that matter. Would they really make an individual reward for every single title/monument? Or make a single reward with a "shineyness" scale from 1-50 or so? I doubt it.
I think there will be shiney baubles for a "full" monument of honor... and when I say "full", I mean having 5 titles on display. But I don't think there will be anything extra for having more titles beyond 5.
So, I personally doubt there's any point in maxing titles just for the Monument of Honor. Any 5 monuments will do... and several titles don't even have to be maxed before you can add them to your HoM (eg. Lucky only needs to be rank2).
However! I think there might be more shiney baubles to reward your KoaBD rank... my reasoning being that progress in KoaBD changes the appearance of the HoM. So from that point of view, perhaps it's worth maxing Lucky - but only if you're aiming for GWAMM, because you can reach Smelly Guild Hall with much easier titles than Lucky.
Whatever rewards you get in GW2 for your HoM... they are likely to be cosmetic only, and give no advantage in gameplay or wealth. Your opinion might differ... but whatever you think the rewards will be - you have to consider, do you think it's going to be worth a 5-month grind?

I thought the title iself is the reward? the fact that then gives you a statue in the HoM is an added bonus. I don't see why people think this will come at an advantage in gw2, this shouldn't be the reason your doin the title anyway.

Does that sound right? Man, am I doomed for the grind?
Is this title really worth getting? Do I have a better chance of something great in GW2 and How many people actually have the Lucky title MAXED?

4600 runs at 12 runs an hour will take 383 hours of boring repetitive braindead labour. If you would spend 383 hours learning an instrument you would be pretty good at it. And what will the title get you in GW 2? Noone knows, but it will most likely something that will not give you the edge over other players. Commonly expected title and hom rewards are skins, more titles, mini's, etc.
My advise: spend that precious time doing something useful, something rewarding or at least something fun, and not something boring and mind numbing like hundreds of hours of chest running.

I have both Treasure Hunter and lucky maxed, which I absolutely love for salvaging items and lockpick retentions. 9 rings helps a bit but treasure hunter really helped my title move along.
I finished off my lucky title by picking chests in the first level of Cathedral of Flames. Just grab a perma sin, check the first level and resign. There are typically 2 chests there, which I think took under 2 mins to do.
